The 2nd Japan Cultural Experience Program at STU
From October 19th through 28th, the STU
community welcomed a second group of friends from Aquinas
University and AQ High School in Legazpi, Philippines. For an
exciting ten days, STU students and their new friends enjoyed a
wide variety of activities including Japanese language lessons,
calligraphy lesson and a tea ceremony prepared by the STU Tea
Ceremony Club. There were also excursions to Kyoto, Osaka and
Takarazuka, as well as a visit to a nearby Catholic high school.
As you can see in these pictures, we all had great fun! STU is
planning to send a second group of students to visit Legazpi
next February.
